The History and Evolution of Jazz in the 20th Century Through Performance

Eric's latest project, The History and Evolution of Jazz in the 20th Century Through Performance is a multi part concert and lecture series that explores the evolution of jazz and how it parallels American society.

Each session surveys significant musicians, composers and musical characteristics of  different eras of jazz  as well as how they paralleled the social and political climate of American society during that time.

 

Fun, educational and family friendly, each event features live performance, lecture, multimedia presentations and audience  Q&A and are always free to the public at various libraries in Rockland County, NY.   Seating is limited so be sure to book your tickets in advance.
