Guitarist Eric DiVito has been active in and around the New York music scene since 2003. He holds degrees in classical and jazz guitar performance as well as music education. Eric frequently performs at various jazz clubs, festivals, and other live music venues throughout NYC, the Hudson Valley, and the tristate area as both a leader and a sideman including some regional and international touring as well as work for Carnival Cruises and Bateaux NY Cruises. Eric also has taught music and directed ensembles in the New York City public school system for eleven years and most recently in the Rye City School District in Westchester, NY and at Domincan College in Orangeburg, NY. In addition, he maintains a private guitar studio where he teaches guitar techniques, jazz studies, and composition privately and via online formats. Eric has released two studio jazz records and one solo classical guitar recording to date. His albums Breaking The Ice (2012) and The Second Time Around (2013) received national and international acclaim including reviews in Downbeat magazine, the NYC Jazz Record and more.
